General Policies

  • All guests must be 21 or older and have valid identification.
  • All guests must adhere to all rules, policies, and staff instructions.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service and revoke axe throwing privileges to anyone at any time, with no refunds.
  • All axe throwers must wear closed toe shoes. Sandals and flip flops are not allowed.
  • All guests must fill out and sign their own Waiver prior to participating.
  • We supply and maintain the throwing hatchets. No outside hatchets may be brought into the facility.
  • No smoking, e-cigarettes or vaping allowed in the building or on premises.

Privacy Policy

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

We will use your contact information for marketing purposes, information, events, updates, and/or special offers from either The Yard Albany or BoozyMoo. We will not share your information with anyone, and you are free to opt-out of any promotional communications with us at anytime by clicking the Unsubscribe link in the email you receive from us or by informing us in writing at info@theyardalbany.com.

Security Policy

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet. We do not retain your payment information unless you choose to do so personally within our reservation or ecommerce software.

Refund Policy

All payments for hatchet throwing, greenhouses, lawn games, merchandise, and/or gift cards are final and no refunds will be processed. If you need to cancel a reservation, we may offer a credit (subject to review), to be used within 90 days, if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance. Exchanges may be possible on merchandise depending on availability.

Rescheduling Policy

We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling your reservation whenever possible, however, our inability to do so, will not affect our refund policy. If rescheduling isn't possible, and the request is made at least 24 hours in advance, you may be offered a credit for future reservations.
